![]() ![]() a smooth winding river that works with the water physics will allow a soft edged meandering stream.the water should flow enough to push the ocean back at its exit as well ![]() To get rivers to work right, I had to raise a hill or mountain, and create a channel that slopes up from about lvl58 or so in the ocean to where on the hill the start of my river was, and set a water spawn point there - if there's an easier way someone please help it was frustrating to get the channel right so the water wouldn't slosh around near the end of its run into the ocean.Terraforming along the edges of the map and reducing the land level below 60 will get the ocean spilling in (like what you described) actually maybe even a depression in the middle of the flat area will get ocean i never tried it.Here are some tips (I think they're right other correct me if wrong) My successful maps took me hours to get working right. It takes a lot of trial and error to get correct. ![]()
